This course will describe the function of all types of pumps in the industry, focusing on centrifugal pumps. Operational characteristics will be explained in detail and illustrated with several case studies and numerical examples.
Maintenance requirements and condition monitoring procedures will be presented. This course will also discuss the various aspects of fluid flow in pipes and the requirements for the reliable, safe design and operation of pipe systems
