EPIC Municipal Training
Faced with increasingly complex problems and reduced budgets, municipalities across Ontario are tasked with ensuring that their staff remain up-to-date on new and emerging technologies and practices, and are properly trained to carry out their duties. They are also responsible to provide opportunities for professional growth and career advancement for everyone regardless of their role. For smaller municipalities, this is difficult, if not impossible to do.
Rural Municipalities are unique, the staff do not always benefit from "urban-centric" training programs, EPIC Municipal Training programs will be tailored to ensure that issues facing smaller municipalities are incorporated into the curriculum to make the training more effective. EPIC Municipal Training courses are more economical, without sacrificing the quality of the courses.
Almost all of EPIC's Municipal courses offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs), which can help students earn training requirements for their provincial governing bodies.
