Dr. Hassan is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, specializing in geoenvironmental engineering, soil remediation, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. With a Ph.D. from Western University and over two decades of academic, research, and industry experience across Canada and internationally, his work focuses on electrokinetic bioremediation, environmental contamination, and ground improvement technologies. Dr. Hassan has an extensive publication record in leading journals, has secured significant research funding (including NSERC support), and actively supervises graduate and undergraduate students.
