CEU and PDH Registration Requirements

In order to earn validated CEUs and PDHs for a course, EPIC is required to submit the participant's name and email address to the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC). EIC will only use this information to record the credit hours and will not share or use the information for any other purposes, other than a possible survey about this EPIC course.

Course Withdrawal, Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you wish to withdraw from a course, you must advise us by email, including the official payment receipt.

Our policies regarding refunds are:

  • Fourteen or more business days in advance: a full refund minus $100.00 administration charge.
  • Seven to Thirteen business days in advance: You can transfer to another course or request a non-refundable credit, valid for one year, which can be used towards another EPIC course. Credits are transferable within your organization.
  • Less than Seven business days in advance: You may send someone else to take your place without any additional cost (Email our registrar the name and email address) or request your course notes to be emailed to you.

If an instructor is not available due to unforeseen circumstances, another instructor of equal ability will be substituted.

Please note that the criteria on which CEUs are awarded are based on attendees full presence and participation in the workshops/case studies/discussions. If you need to leave early please inform the instructor so that we can adjust the number of CEUs accordingly.

Those who fail to show up for the course or withdraw without providing sufficient notice will be subject to the full invoiced course fee.

**If EPIC has to cancel a course, a full refund will be issued to the attendee.

**In the event that EPIC chooses to cancel a course, a full refund will be issued to the registrant.

Note: We make every effort not to cancel any course. If a live classroom course cannot be run due to low registration, participants are offered the option of taking the same course via our instructor facilitated, interactive distance course format. In the event that they do not want the online option, they may request to be transferred to another live-class going on or be issued a credit letter to be used for the next semester or request to be refunded the whole amount paid.
