Ahmad has conducted energy-related courses for several years. He is also teaching credit courses on wind turbine engineering in two Canadian universities. He received his Bs degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tehran, and PhD in system dynamics and control from the Department of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Salford, UK.
Dr. Hemami has many years of industrial, academic and research (Theoretical and applied) experience and has served as a consultant for industry. Among his areas of expertise are robotics, control & automation, and wind energy. He has a passion for renewable energy and the conservation of the environment.
He is very enthusiastic about renewable energy and very concerned about the environment. He has over one hundred journal and conference publications, including two books: Wind Turbine Technology (2012) and Electricity and Electronics for Renewable Energy Technology (2016).
