INSTRUCTOR PROFILE.

Leonard Uku is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) with over 15 years of experience in building codes, structural engineering, fire safety engineering, and building science. He is a Lead Engineer, Building Code Advisor with the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. He holds a Master of Engineering in Fire Safety Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Carleton University. His experience includes building code analysis, structural engineering, building design, fire safety, building plans review, and the application of building and fire safety requirements.
